Question on hair extensions
From: Sue Chehrenegar
7/21/2008 1:10:39 PM

I was curious to know if you could use any type of hair in a hair extension. I once saved a lot of my own hair, but I did not know what to do with it. If I again have a collection of my own hair, I would like to discover a possible use for that hair.

I saw one of those blondes on there, and I want to go that shade... I wonder if I'd look good in it. I liked the hair styles... damn it! I want to do my hair now.
Recommendation for Marie Claire Magazine for Lance

Hi Lance,

My review of you has to be short and sweet. So I thought of the following to say. If there is anything you would like to add let me know.

Dear Marie Claire:

I would like to take this time to thank you for your 10th Anniversary Special on the Splurge & Steal Issue. Your magazine has always been a treat and always puts a smile on my face. If you would not have done your homework on Salon Steals I would never have been able to meet one of the most Artistic Hairstylists in Beverly Hills. I called both Salons that you suggested and was very happy with the information that I received from Lance at Louis Michael Salon. Lance's assistant booked my appointment for the following morning. The assistant kindly suggested that I look up Lance's website at www.LanceHair.com for any questions, services, directions and other information I may need. He also advised that there are some before and after photos of hair makeovers that I could look at. Well, I did look at Lance's website, and boy was I surprised. He had all these informative answers to just about any question you possibly can have. I also felt confident walking into the Salon, already knowing I was in great hands and what type of hairstylist would be working on my hair. I was treated as a VIP by Lance and his assistant. Which, you know, every girl loves? I was given a consultation by Lance. He took his time and really thought about what shape and form of cut my hair should have. He also analyzed the color of my hair and suggested a color for natural-looking highlights. He explained everything he was doing and always asked if it was okay to continue. He explained the method that he used to cut my hair, about which he stated, "it was a round cut." Well, I have to tell you that I have never been so pleased with a hair cut and highlights the way I am right now. I know you have had some really great information in the past and present in your Magazine, but this was the bomb, for me at least. I was able to get this outrageous new look and feel very great about myself, all with the help of your Magazine's research and Lance's brilliant, artistic talents. Hopefully, a lot of your readers take advantage of the Steal that Lance has to offer. I know they will be just as happy as I am. It has put a spark back into my life feeling wonderful about myself. Check out his website for yourself, and you can see my before and after pictures. I am about the tenth makeover with a French blue button down blouse. Thank you Marie Claire for the blessing you have helped to put in my path.

Sincerely,

A dedicated reader

Doris Longoria

Very short to bob ) just past chin length

My hair is short and thin and brown (colored after I abused it with blonde).

I have been wearing a medium blonde streaked wig that I love. I want my hair to look the same.

I notice everyone gets long hair. Can I get extensions that are bob length? Is is less expensive? How long to they last?

Thank you.

BLACK HAIR
From: NURAH A

Hi

My name is nurah and I have curly, wavy, frizzy, hair that needs pressing, and flating ironing to straighten. After my hair gets old I wet it to let it curl up and where it curly until the next hair appointment. I am also 50ish and would desire a color weave that has lighter colors in the front and the darker colors in the reas and sparsed throughout my hair. So the gray growing in won't stand out so harshly.

My question is do you work on black hair such as mine? Do you think your could give an mature diva a fresher look?

P.S. I was thinking that extentions would also add some glamore to this autumn chicken.

Hoping you say "of course".
