Well this is quite a request, I feel for you. I will email you in a bit of ansering in a blog. By The way I have beena a pass donater to John Wayne Cancer society, the Concern Foundation City of Hope and numerous others too. I am not very good at house call though i do admit. The last outcall was at Wallis Annenbergs estate. I dropped my blowdryer on her porch ( luging my stuff back and forth) So the 100 dollar blowdry was a loss since the dryer cost 75 dollars and the 20 minute getting there and 20 minutes getting back to my salon I own.

dear Lance
Thankyou so much for returning my email. Thats a great idea! Everytime l do a class l always leave there feeling imspired. Mybe l just have the winter blues? I live and work in Vancouver, BC. The shop l work in is located on the sea wall, so in the summer we get a lot of clients who live in Florida and Californa who can't handle the heat. When you first got started, what did you do? How did you get were you are today? Thanks again, sarah

Dear Lance
After looking through your web site l feel so imspired to go out and try it on my own. I have been doing hair for over three years and enjoy everyday that l am in the salon. But laterly l have been feeling as if l am coming to rut in my career. I want to be sucessful, and l am aware that there is more to just cutting hair. Where do l start?

Gay and Lesbian taxpayers
From: Fred
9/4/2004

Lance I know this is your hair website blog, but here is some political stuff i thought you would be interested in:
On September 1st, AB 849, the Religious Freedom and Civil Marriage Protection Act was passed through the CA Senate. This was an historical moment because it was the first time a state legislature had passed a same-sex marriage bill without being ordered by the courts to do so.

Some brief background: this bill was originally called AB 19, but failed on the Assembly floor by four votes. A month later, the bill’s author, Mark Leno, gutted a bill on fisheries (with the permission of the author, Assemblymember Patty Berg) that had already passed the Assembly and was on its way to the Senate. He inserted the language of AB 19. Now that this amended bill has passed the Senate, it must obtain concurrence on the Assembly floor. This time, we must fight harder to ensure that equality prevails.

Please contact the offices of the legislators listed below unceasingly to remind them of the following:

•This is a civil rights issue. Fifty years ago, interracial marriage was prohibited by law. As California marriage laws currently stand, they violate California’s doctrines of equality, privacy and freedom from discrimination.

•This bill specifically states that the government may not interfere in a religious institution’s refusal to perform a same- sex marriage. This bill only applies to government- issued marriage licenses.

•Gay & lesbian taxpayers in California contribute to society equally. Hence, they should have equal rights, if they are to assume equal responsibilities.

•Legalizing same-sex marriage would result in a net gain of $22.3 to $25.2 million each year. In the current state of our economic crisis, these revenues would be helpful in balancing the budget and ensuring more money for education, housing and medical programs.

Please take 5 minutes out of your day to write an email or make this very important call. Please forward this message and ask your family and friends to do the same. Let's make this happen once and for all!

Sincerely,

Fred Mariscal, SYD Vice President of Communications

From: johnathan
7/28/2004

HELLO MR. Lance lipman :

I would like to bring my lovely and beautiful wife into Your hair style salon. Her name is Lisa she's in her mid 40's, has long brown hair which is oily, parted in the middle, 60/70's style. Lisa went several times in the past to have her hair done but with bad results.

Lisa would prefer a man to do her hair over a women, she claims that women mess her hair up and now she is sensitive about her hair.

I came to knowlege of Your Salon linked from one of the make over t.v. programs.

I checked out Your website, my question is this ... Will You actualy perform the hair style services on my wife with some pointers to keep her hair healthy ? My wife and I both work, some days during the month we both have the time off together, how far in advance will You need for the appointment.

Thank You for Your time in answering this blog
