Northern California hair stylist From: Parin 6/28/2006 Hello, I am a hairstylist who has relocated from Northern California to do hair and makeup for television and films. I absolutely love my job, however, I miss the salon environment and I am looking for a new spot to call home. I came from a Sebastian Salon and Spa in the central valley where I specialized in cuts and color. I am open to renting a station part-time or working on commission for awhile. I do not have much clientele in Southern California yet, but word tends to travel fast and I am certain that in the right location I will build rapidly. It only took me one year out of beauty school in Northern California to build a full book and was occasionally double booking without an assistant just to fit people in. By: Christina 11/17/2006 1:41:02 PM I had just moved to L.A from D.C and I've also been a hairstylist for 6 yrs with a very good clientle and I too was often double booked, but don't think you're all that because you did 2 clients without an assistant. Anyone cane, just be calm and give the client you're on, you're best without being distracted. Comment on this posting.
