| The Great Out Doors From: member 2/16/2009 12:33:03 PM Dear Loyal Members, As you may have noticed, The Great Outdoors Los Angeles, an all volunteer organization, has not sent out a December or January newsletter. Please bear with us as we go through the transition of finding a new Newsletter Editor. We are currently searching for a new Newsletter Editor. If you, or anyone you know, is interested in becoming our Newsletter Editor, please contact Dan Robertson at president@greatoutdoorsla.org or 323.223.7257 as soon as possible. Requirements would be a working knowledge of InDesign or QuarkExpress. Also, a few spare hours a month, to put the newsletter together. As the Newsletter Editor, you will be a member of the Core Group. The Core Group meets once a month, for a couple of hours, generally the 1st or 2nd Wednesday. We discuss and plan upcoming events, and GreatOutdoorsLA business. Of course your attendance is requested, but not required. Meanwhile, please check out our website; www.greatoutdoorsla.org. Mark, our webmaster, has done a great job of updating the website, to ensure all of our events are current. Also, check out the other California chapters of Great Outdoors.
